ERA Ranger Capital Works Projects

Value:	$44M (full project cost, study undertaken in house)
Timeframe:	2005 - 2006

ERA Ranger mine is located adjacent to the Kakadu National Park as such all works associated with the mine site require infrastructure review, analysis, and upgrade at all stages of development and operation.  ERA Ranger Capital Works program included:

environmental; civil; structural; and mechanical engineering projects such as: 

• mine stockpile development;
• development and implementation of drainage management strategies for ore stockpiles;
• town site extensions;
• irrigation area development for drainage management;
• wetland rehabilitation for drainage management;
• ERA civil infrastructure upgrades for management of drainage water;
• civil earthworks for new tailings dam and drainage management around the dam;
• access roads;
• structural assessments;
• and process plant modifications.
